keep in mind that nudity in Japanese culture and sexual intercourse are two distinctly different things... It is in the western civs that we equate nudity with perversion and sex... and that more recently.
There have always been prudes that objected to the nude bodies. My grandmother, herself, would not look up at the ceiling of the sistene chapel when she toured the V because of the "dreadful nudes" painted by that "horrible homosexual" (oy! is it any wonder I am so twisted???) ;)
I myself taught Art in the MIddle Schools only to have to retire when a group of idiots (you might call them parents) objected that I was showing pornography in my classroom. What was the title of the porno? Madonna and Child by Raphael.
Look it up, see my horrible preversion while lecturing about the old masters.
But as a body... nudity is what you make of it.
Rita Rudner said it best... "Everyone is naked under their clothes!"
People need to get over it.
