Our solution :
A license comes with a key that is unique to each software title. If the key is not present on the server or it does not contain the correct license the plugin will warn the client and shut down immediately.
So.... The nasty software hacker person must first work out where the license file is located, what is contained within the file, what the encryption method is, what the decryption key is and how is the decrypted information relevant.
If a licensed customer uses the product for malicous purposes they will be in breach of the license agreement and we, amongst others will sue thier ass off.
I must also point out that a game delivered by Java or Flash could also do nasty things, and so can reading your email :D
