I was going to bump my previous thread, but then I realized that its title was misguided, so many people would ignore it.
My request is now slightly become more guided.

What I have is an NPAPI plugin DLL.
In order to make it useful, it needs to be possible to change values in this DLL through an external program.
I can change almost all of the required variables using a hex editor, but I can not find the values for MIME type, file version, file extensions, description, etc... They must be easy to access, since the web browser and OS reads that kind of stuff routinely.
The other string, which I could find and succesfully change with the result of instant alteration of the program, says "Cube\Cube.exe".

Help would be appreciated.

Download for the DLL is here:

This is the resource script that I am using, which contains the magical values:

Edit:
Aha! ResHacker.
It looks like I can call ResHacker through the command line, which is good.
Is there any code for B3d, or command line tool, that allows me to modify a string in a compiled file? (The task done above by a hex editor).

Actually... I'm having trouble running ResourceEditor through the command line. Are there any good alternatives?
