Gameboy,
Are you posting on the GP32x forums per chance?
If you are, what user name are you using (if you don't mind me asking)?
I've kind of got the hang of SDL for the GP2X development and have been wrapping the commands to give it a Blitz feel:
Mind you, I have not order the unit yet. I'm going to wait for the dust to settle and see how it progresses.
There are a couple of videos here showing the Quake 1 port in action.
Great link here too.

I've kind of got the hang of SDL for the GP2X development and have been wrapping the commands to give it a Blitz feel:
#include <cmath> #include "Blitz.h" // blitz example #1 int main(int argc, char *argv[]){ Graphics(320, 240, 0); // windowed screen SetTitle("Load/Display image"); SDL_Surface *image=LoadBMP("testimage.bmp"); SDL_Surface *brick=LoadBMP("brick.bmp"); float v=0.0; int alpha=160; SetImageAlpha(image,alpha); while (!AppClosed()){ Cls(); ScanKeyboard(); if(inkeys[SDLK_LEFT]){ if (alpha>0){ alpha-=1; SetImageAlpha(image,alpha); } } if(inkeys[SDLK_RIGHT]){ if (alpha<255){ alpha+=1; SetImageAlpha(image,alpha); } } TileImage(brick,int(sin(v/4)*125),int(-cos(v/4)*75)); DrawImage(image,60+int(sin(v)*40.0),60+int(cos(v)*30.0)); v+=0.009; Flip(); } FreeImage(image); End(); }
Mind you, I have not order the unit yet. I'm going to wait for the dust to settle and see how it progresses.
