I was writing an application recently in Blitz+ and was thinking how much more productive it would be if I was doing it in a RAD environment.

I plodded along writing custom event routines until I reached a point where I decided to give up and change language completely.

Within 2 days I had recreated in Delphi what had taken me 2 weeks in Blitz+ to do. I sat there unfortunately regretting my time spent in Blitz+.

I love the BASIC language and I love the syntax of Blitz which is why I initially tried the Blitz+ route. Although the app was working fine the time taken to code events and off-shoot routines was taking up far too much time than needed.

I guess my point to this post is, is BRL considering at any point releasing a app based version of Blitz aimed at the RAD world? - I think there is a huge market left with the BASIC users who don't want to have to rely on .net runtime libraries since the release of VB.net and the abandoned VB6.
