Ted does export meshes X & b3d, it can do a smooth and noise sweep and you can edit the verts.
Theres a couple of demos (with meshes and textures) in blitz and darkbasic on the website: www.d-grafix.com/softwareted.html The darkbasic one is also worth getting as it features the newer X export.
