Topknot : A couple of things to look out for. First off both your landscape meshes should occupy your landscape space. There's no need to create another Space that'll probably add overhead. You can just add all you unanimated, static scenery objects into the one subspace. You also want a seperate Geom object for each object so that you can clear them or move them or whatever. At the moment you use the same variable name, Trimesh, for two seperate objects.

Global Space = dHashSpaceCreate(0)
Global LandSpace = dHashSpaceCreate(Space)
landmesh_geom1 = CreateTriMesh(LandSpace,landMesh1)
landmesh_geom2 = CreateTriMesh(LandSpace,landMesh2)

To disable subspace collisions use dSetInternalSpaceCollideMode(0).
