I have gradually moved over to GA's 'manual code-completion' method of writing the shell logic, then filling in the actual gubbins. Hadn't thought to do it with CreateStuff/FreeStuff combinations... will try to do this in future.

I'm too oldskool to change IDE now, but Protean's automatic code-completion on structures sounds good. I know Dreamweaver does this for me on HTML tags but I can't remember which code environment also does {I generally use Borland CBuilder by choice and MSVC when I am forced to.}
