There are plenty of mods under 32k. Take a small chip tune : 1k for miscellaneous tiny looped samples, 1k for each block of song data (it's a bit over that, but...), say 4 blocks, 1k for miscellaneous header information (extremely generous)... 6k tune... leaves 24k for code, which is ample for any 4 channel format supported in it's entirety...
