That AVG outlook thing sounds bad. I have outlook express with 1000s of emails in the folder, I wonder how it will handle that?
It won't, or rather it didn't used to. At the time I tried importing all my stuff in OE and it was just the same. Basically killed OE for about 15 minutes while it scanned a folder with about 400 mails in it.
Thunderbird?
Tried it recently, but I got put off 'cos I couldn't see any way to get my stuff back out of it if I decided to do so later. That and some of the (non-fatal, but still irritating) bugs I came across. So back to Outlook (which I hate, but it works :-)
