Except of course for the fact that you didn't pay for those betas, you paid for the Mac version, which was not a beta. So that whole paragraph is nullified.
It's rather presumptuous of you to tell me what I paid for. I don't have a Mac, nor any intention of buying one soon, so I most certainly did not pay for the Mac version and I most certainly *did* pay for the betas. Neither you or I can know for certain whether it was the intention that people would part with their money for the betas, but I'd drop dead with shock if it wasn't anticipated to some extent.
