how fast to 1 Billion ?

With Rod49s original code, I get:

0 to 1 Billion in 39684 milliseconds (Debug)
0 to 1 Billion in 17584 milliseconds (Release)

Using Muttley's "Local Variable" version, I get:

0 to 1 Billion in 39262 milliseconds (Debug)
0 to 1 Billion in 1308 milliseconds (Release)

Are these numbers correct? They seem weird compared to the others on here.
