It might be something to do with the path.

I find I need something like...

 correctdir=FileType  ("filethatshouldbethere.file")

 if not correctdir then ChangeDir (SystemProperty$ ("AppDir"))


...at the start of my program. If the path isn't set up right this should correct it.
