Oh, no offence is taken, I'm alright!
I was wondering beforehand whether I should have emailed you my encryption routine instead, but that would have gone against the spirit of the project. It's a difficult trade-off, and I think we best settle with a not-so-perfect solution. We could always combine our encryption routines, thus doubling the number of possibilities to over 500. Of course, someone could still easily crack this, but would a contestant really go to that much trouble in trying to crack it?
As I said before, I doubt I'll be able to tackle beefing up the scripting tool. Before you go, could you give us a small list of things myself and others could do which would be reasonably straightforward?

I was hoping for an encryption algorithm that is still hard to crack, even with the source code being made public.
