I've had a few thoughts about the number of weapons that a bot can carry. In the Bot.bb file, I've just arbitrarily set the number of weapons a bot can carry to 10 (Field Weapon.TypeWeapon[9]). But then after looking over the Bot Weapons weights, I realized that a player could set up his bot with 10 machine guns (totaling 5000 bullets) because the total weight would only equal 500kg. This may/may not be desirable...
So, I would like your input on what (if anything) to do about this. Here are some suggestions:
Limit number of weapons carried to a lesser number (say 5, or 3, for instance)
Let stay at 10 weapons, but limit only 1 (or 2, or 3) of each weapon.
Leave it the way it is (10 weapons total, any number of any weapon).
Let me hear your thoughts on this topic.
-----------------------------
Seperate topic:
How many weapons (if any?) can a bot start out with?
Can they start with the maximum allowable (by weight), if they choose?
Should they be FORCED to pick up additional weapons if they want multiple weapons?
Does picking up a 'PowerUp' add a weapon to their inventory, or does it just add ammo (or both?)?
Should we have seperate 'PowerUps' for weapons and ammo?
Let me know your thoughts on this topic.
