Id really like to know how OGL suddenly became oo? Since SGI made it 20 odd years ago, its been about as C as you can get. And DX (esp from 5 onwards) has a well defined OO background - especially being derived from COM (OO!).
Also, OO doesnt define unit testing (otherwise we would have had troubles at uni when I went. :-)). Unit testing is simply a methodology (like black box, white box testing and so on). This is regardless of the language - you can unit test Forth, but I doubt too many would call Forth oo, same goes with ASM, or pretty much any langauge.
Alberto is fair in judging classes in C++ as extensions from C structs - the simple understanding is that C is a subset of C++, which is the case (otherwise C++ compiler wouldnt be able to compile C). Other lanugages implemented different notations and design ideas - C++ was an extension of an already heavily used language (having its roots back in the early days of programming).
.. Its not long.. its just started .. :-)
