I've gone back to Blitz3D. It pains me to say but I really don't get OO in Blitzmax and nor do I like the way types work. It's a lot for me to fiddle with and remember.
I know, not an excuse, but there's something quite unsatisfying about Blitzmax right now and although I'm trying my best, the OO stuff just doesn't seem to make anything BETTER than what I can do now anyway.
In fact I'm finding myself having to do more typing in order to achieve the same results.
With Blitz3D, you have insert before, after, and really easy types management. Blitzmax requires you to mantain seperate lists and doesn't have commands to easily access types.
I'm sure many will argue, but BM just doesn't click like Blitz3D did.
