Guy goes to a warez stall to buy some pirate software. The stallholder has a bird on his shoulder that keeps squawking "Pieces of nine! Pieces of nine!"
"Shouldn't that be pieces of eight ?" the guy asks.
"Yes - it's a parroty error"
