New feature? Like the ability to play multiple copies of an instrument offset randomly in time and pitch by some small amount to simulate lots of people playing at once?
I've used fruityloops. Nice program. Bit hard to figure out, and doesn't come with enough samples, but once you do figure out the basics it's pretty painless. I dunno how you'd do the above though in it, I haven't used it too much.
