The game runs... Although I don't appear to be able to pick anything up?
Rim's It's pretty straight forward because you wrote it. The changes you made from your first inventory system went in, then you updated it... No idea if the old stuff was supposed to come out or stay in. Uploading the code seemed to me to be the easiest option. As I said the code runs now... although picking things up doesn't seem to happen.
Mark, you want to download this and upload your changes?
After Marks made the changes for the editor stuff and converted the map I'll look into it all again. I've got a bunch of changes I've made but I've been waiting to get everyone elses stuff in first so I can upload a new version with all the changes rather than upload my changes then you guys have to re-arrange all your code to fit round the new mods I'd made.
So... After Mark comes back with the new version with new editor, map and that lot then I'll put my bits and pieces in, upload a new version and we'll all be happy again.
I have 2 AB folder on my computer, alienbreed (this is the uploaded version and the one I update with everyones changes) and alienbreed.dev this is the one I make my changes on, this way I can move my stuff over to the alienbreed folder after everyone has made their changes. The downside of this approach is that you have to put your changes in last, it's been working so far with the updates. It's just these 500 page manuals for changing 10k of code seems a little unnecessasy.
