I think this is a good idea. A way around the debug problem is to keep all the lines in sync. Something else that might be interesting to experiment with is only using close brackets, the open brackets being implied by the context as they are in BASIC.
It would be good if it were extremely configurable with otions to turn everything on and off. A good example is that there isn't much reason to do Types as you have above, its actually longer to type.
