I have created a programm to aid people with deficits in their visual abilities or in motion. It allows the user to control the PC with only three different keys (space bar and both mouse buttons) in order to read texts on their computer screens. The way the texts are presented and the degree the user input is delayed can be easily adjusted by the user according to their personal needs.
TextPracht has been originally designed for a person who suffers from multiple sclerosis. It has been re-designed to become individually adjustable so that other people can also benefit from it. The German version has been released on the internet in January 2004 and has already proven useful to many different people. It has now been translated into English, so that even more people can benefit from it.
