Unfortunately not. But its not something anyone else has found a fix for either. :/
I did actually upgrade to an nVidia card (twice - dont ask) but I can't seem to keep away from my Matrox. Maybe things will improve when I upgrade to WinXP.
Some other comments on Gile[s]:
a) Will it be possible to set it up so it automatically creates a fallback (lo-res) lightmap simultaneously?
b) Quick render (in demo at least) should be called Slow Render (:P) - will Quick Render be configurable in the full app. I like the way that in Max you can setup 'Production' and 'Draft' settings for example.
BTW: Does the grid, and stuff work for you? I saw another post that uses the same method, where you said it didn't work on your Matrox card?
