no offense dark half but we already have enough people pointing out its weaknesses. thats easy, anybody can do that.
it would be MUCH more productive to contribute code rather than sit safely back and pick it apart.

Fine. You'd be interested to know that I DID start my own version of the program (about 4 hours ago), just because I think the model would come in when i do persue a driving sim. Tell you what though, just because of your comments, I doubt i will contribute the code to this thread (weather its an improvement, or not, YOU'LL never know)...... Good Day
, I think his suggestions for how to improve the model are useful. Though I personalyl don't have an interest in creating the perfect driving sim. I just want something that drives in a fun way, and is in fact, unrealistic. For example, I like how the car bounces off walls when it hits them. Getting stuck up against a wall is really annoying in Crazy Taxi.
Weather its the perfect model or not, with more advanced forces (and control), you CAN do wacky things with the physics (IE you want to make the car bounce like its on a pogo stick, merely up the flex var for the body, and for the shocks, or you want to have the car do big air jumps, down the force of the gravity, and down the drag). The point is, with more control over forces (and more forces), you can really pull off some cool demos (pure fun)
