Good stuff! It is much easier to understand and use the vertlet stuff now that you've cleaned it up and separated the vertlet code from the rest.
I just uploaded the code from my demo to

My primary additions to the code are the added speedometer and improved chase cam (both things you might want to add to your cleaned up code.) The chase cam in particular I like a lot because I introduced a little lag so that the camera doesn't turn exactly along with the car, smoothing out the camera movements.
