Blitz plus and the nvidia/direct x problem

Does blitz plus suffer from the same problem as blitz2d with regard to the new nvidia driver/direct x/whatever issue as mentioned in this thread:

Id happily buy blitz plus and convert the games across if it would solve this problem.
