Yeah, I saw that other post, but it doesn't really answer the question. I guess I could do the experiment myself, but I figured I'd ask before I went to the trouble.
fyi: I'm loading ten 800x600x8 bmps and it takes 12-15 seconds. Not long, I know, but I'd like to speed it up if I could. .. yeah I could load them as I need them but then I end up with 1 second load times at 12-15 places.. and that's much more distracting I think.
